     I simply love the church.  And I especially love it when the church takes very seriously our call to be the very presence of Jesus Christ in our community and the world around us.  Underwood Hills Presbyterian Church lives out that call in dynamic and caring ways which I why I love serving as pastor of this congregation

     I’m new here at Underwood Hills so let me introduce myself.  I am a long-time pastor in the Reformed Church in America, most recently serving as interim pastor of Hope Church in Lincoln and long-term senior pastor at Westwood Church here in Omaha.  Over all I’ve been a pastor for over 35 years.   My wife, Cathy, and I have been married over 40 years and we have 3 children: Jacob (married to Brianne), Benjamin (married to Amanda) and Jess.  I love my dogs, working in my garden and the Huskers.  I’m a big Chiefs fan, and a sports fan in general.  My other job is serving as the COO at Omaha Street School, a Christian high school for at-risk adolescents located in the heart of north Omaha.
